چکیده
Multi-drug resistant bacteria are a public health problem associated with high morbidity and mortality globally. This increasing drug resistance has been linked to gene exchange between bacteria. Integrons systems known play significant role in the acquisition dissemination of antimicrobial genes especially Gram negative Hence, this study aims evaluate integrons members Enterobacteriaceae obtained from clinical samples. Forty- nine (49) isolates identified as Escherichia coli (45), Proteus mirabilis (2), Shimwellia blattae (1), Klebsiella pneumoniae (1) were amoxicillin/clavulanate, cefuroxime, cefixime ceftazidime while 43(87.76%), 45(91.84%), 46(93.88%) 29(59.18%) these strains gentamicin, ofloxacin, ciprofloxacin nitrofurantoin, respectively. Class 1 found E. (18), (1). revealed that large proportion studied multi-drug resistant, possessed integrons. Consequently, there is need for proactive antibiotic surveillance system both healthcare community settings view reducing incidence spread different species Key words: Enterobacteriaceae, samples integrons, multidrug resistance.

Integrons and gene cassettes in the enterobacteriaceae.
Integrons were detected in 59 of 120 (49%) urinary isolates of Enterobacteriaceae by PCR using degenerate primers targeted to conserved regions of class 1, 2, and 3 integrase genes. PCR sequencing analysis of the cassette arrays revealed a predominance of cassettes that confer resistance to the aminoglycosides and trimethoprim.
متن کاملInvestigating the prevalence of resistance genes in Listeria monocytogenes isolated from food and clinical samples
Background: Listeriosis can be fatal for vulnerable groups of society. The disease has been widespread in recent years due to the large consumption of dairy and meat products. There is little information about the susceptibility of antibiotics and the pattern of Listeria monostigenesis gene resistance in Iranian society. Accordingly, the present study was conducted to investigate the antibiotic...
متن کاملDetection of Class I Integrons in Staphyloacoccus aurous Isolated From Clinical Samples
BACKGROUND Staphylococcus aurous is a major pathogen, causing variety of diseases and death in Iran and in the world. Despite the use of a spectrum of new antibiotics, this organism has caused severe infections in burns as well as in different parts of the body, due to acquired drug resistance. Widespread inappropriate use of antibiotics in treating bacterial infections has led to the selection...
متن کاملdetection of class i integrons in staphylococcus aureus isolated from clinical samples
conclusions findings of this study showed that integron can have a limited frequency in s. aureus isolated from clinical sample in tehran. results among the 200 samples, 1% of the strains (two isolates) contained the class 1 integron gene. the results of this study showed that the highest frequency of the obtained samples belonged to males and the isolates occurred mostly in individuals aged 51...
متن کاملThe prevalence study of Staphylococcal enterotoxin genes from clinical samples of patients by multiplex PCR in Ahwaz hospitals.
Background: Several virulence factors have been described in pathogenesis of Staphylococcus aureus strains. Staphylococcal Enterotoxins(SEs) that is one of the most factors, are belonging to important members of bacterial superantigens. Superantigens are defined by their ability to stimulate cytokine release from both T cells and macrophages. 13 different SEs are known that their function is no...
